Blake Byram is an enthusiastic aviator. He has been a licensed pilot
since 1992, and for the last three years has been a member of the Aircraft
Owner Pilot’s Association.
Blake Byram is always ready to share not only his enthusiasm for flying,
but his aircraft and piloting skills as well. He
donated
helicopter time and instruction to the Bridgepoint
Elementary school in the Eanes Independent
School District for their
Science Day in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He conducted a class in aerodynamics for
the elementary school students, in hopes of increasing the children’s interest
in the aviation industry.

piloted and donated his helicopter time to the Extreme Makeover TV show aired
on ABC, for the episode on the victims of the devastating 2011 Bastrop
fires, the most destructive wildfire in Texas
history. He also donated his helicopter time for the home makeover of
firefighter Mizzy Zdroj, and hosted a fundraiser for Fashion for Compassion,
benefitting the Austin Children’s Shelter.
He donated his helicopter and pilot services to the Neighborhood Night
Out program in Cedar Park, Texas, two years in a row. For this, Blake
Byram received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Cedar Park Police
Department.
Blake Byram has used his aviation abilities to fly doctors and medical
supplies to Port au Prince Haiti
for Doctors Without Borders, the international humanitarian medical
organization. He used his own aircraft to make these flights.
As a Coast Guard veteran and longtime supporter of the American
military, Blake Byram donated event space and time for numerous charitable
events benefitting veterans, including Wounded Warriors.
